Where is the best Milk Shake in Northern Utah
With summer drawing to a close I have decided to run a little contest on this blog spot. I want your help. I am in search of the best milkshake in town. Let's say within a 20 mile radius of Ogden, Utah.
If you would like to be a part of this submit your selection, I will put all the entries into a drawing. If you are the lucky winner I will see that you get a gift certificate to your favorite spot!
I'll post the winner on this blogspot in let's say 10 days!
My choice is Jake's Over the Top.... easy choice for me since I was Jake's 3rd Grade Teacher!

Well, from my childhood days, I would have to say that the best milkshake would have to be found at
Peach City in Brigham. They have my favorite ice cream too, and that is Banana Nut. YUM! Yum!
hmmmmm......I'm not much of an ice cream fan, although I would take a carmel marshmallow shake from Glades any day. In the Ogden-Clearfield Metro, I would have to say Burger Bar.
Jason is that Glades in SF? Well if you are the winner, I'll see that you get a gift certificate to Glades!
Can I duplicate someone else's answer? If so, I am a big fan of Burger Bar-any flavor! If you want something good to try go for the Hot Fudge. (This is Jenni Parker by the way)
Duplicate answer are accepted. All entries are just going into a drawing and the winner will be announce September 10th. Come back and check to see if you won!
Well since I can't have sugar, the milk shake is out of the question for me. So I will be changing my answer to the best place for a Diet Coke, and that would be at Red Lobster and since I can't lie, it's not really about the diet coke.
Very funny Ali~~~so you are saying you want me to buy you dinner at Red Lobster?
Burger Bar
Thanks for sending me this. It has made my day. I would have to say a Jakes Over the Top I love that kid.
BJ I talked with your mom (what a shocker)and I thought your choice was your house.. I'm sure that is probably true, but Jake's has got to be a close 2nd!
Jason I forgot to tell you in my reply that carmel marshmallow shakes were my favorite as well, especially from Glades.

Hey Le since we have to stay 20 miles from Ogden I would have to say it is the Burger Bar, but the best in Utah is definately in Bear Lake the fresh Raspberry shakes are to die for, that is of course after you have had your share of the best food in the world...( ABUNDANCE )
Dane, my friend Nancy wants a Peach City, and my son wants a Glades in Spanish Fork, so you can have a Bear Lake if you win! Thanks for stopping by
Ogden area - Jake's Over the Top. But Utah - La Beaus in Garden City - Bear Lake.
2nd vote for Bear Lake...hmmm!
I'm sure that this isn't the place, but us Sweet J Julie, or Jason, on emptymind? Jeri Dawn says Jakes, but she'd take Le Beaus anyday!
Sweet J....that would be me :)
I can't figure this out so I am anonynous, Lisa. I have never been to Glades, but it sounds great, I want to go there. Right now my favorite is Artic Circle, They have huckleberry. and that is my fav.
The List is growing...just a few more days and I'll announce the winner! Many of you have said you don't really like ice-cream, I'm sure you can use your money to buy whatever your heart desires.
I like Burger Bar's lime. So does Brian. Hope I win!
Hey Le...I didn't drop off the face of the earth yet...and because this is one of my favorite subjects, I decided to let you know I LUV North Ogdens Country Boy Dairy! It's under new ownership, but, the ice cream is still Fantastic!!! love ya, W.
Hey -Wendie hope you are feeling well by now. We missed you in CO. Maybe if you win the milkshake we can do lunch or something!
LeBeus Garden City, UT
rasberry marshmellow
Sorry--I had to delete my first posting--too many typos!
Here is my response:
Honestly, my favorite shake is my own vanilla shake. Not to be arrogant, it's just that I'm tired of people making shakes that you can't drink with a straw--shakes that are just a blended cup of icecream. I like my shake to be straw accessible. I use vanilla icecream, milk (whatever amount to make it the "right" consistency), some sugar (to taste), a little Mexican vanilla, and a couple of shakes of cinnamon. Yummmm! Come on over to our house in Northern Utah and I'll make you one! :)
