About Me
- La Dolce Vita with LeAnn
- I would say that I am curious, vivacious, gregarious, sometimes funny, intelligent, easy going, very passionate about the things I love, caring, thoughtful, and kind. Maybe that is a little over the top, but I think you can count on me to be very honest. LOL

"What Are You Reading?"
High atop a snow-covered hill, the stately old Wyatt mansion is perched like a crown, its stone spires pointing upward, its stained glass windows glowing like colorful jewels. Such opulence means success and, surely, happiness. But on the eve of wealthy philanthropist Cecil Wyatt’s eightieth birthday, all the money in the world won’t bring back his missing grandson, William Wyatt. The only thing for certain: Foul play was involved.
WHAT THAT'S NOT WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS READING???? Of course not! Book club for June 2007 was Every Breath You Take by author and true crime writer Ann Rule. Since I didn't read the book, I was able to listen, for once (but not for to long) to everyone's opinion on the book. Conclusion: not sure another true crime book will be on our list. We really are a group of Pansy Wansies....... we don't want to call Book Club anything other than BOOK CLUB!
Okay ladies, let's try this adventure it sounds kind of fun..... here are the rules - NO CHANGES
1. Grab the book closest to you - don't go searching for your favorite or anything else...
2. Open it to page 212. Isn't that boiling point? lol
3. Find the fifth full sentence
4. Post the text of the sentence to the comments options on this blog.
5. GO DO IT!
Here is mine:
"I like romances," she said, "and mysteries," She added wistfully, "I wish I could go someplace. I get so bored!"

Happy Father's Day 2007
There are lots great fathers who have come along in the hundred years since our forefathers came to the United States. Some of them have memoirs written about them, recounting in loving detail the time Dad spent camping in the back yard, shooting baskets, or just walking around the block, shortening his long strides to match the steps of the little feet that confidently skipped along beside him. We are lucky enough to have a dad who still does all of those things for us today.
I haven’t written that book, but I have all those memories, and my dad’s love is inside my heart. He did all of those things necessary to be called a “GREAT DAD”. So instead of sending you those presents that you really don’t want or need, we are all sending your our love and wishing you a very Happy Father’s Day from all of us ~~Al, LeAnn, Jason, Julie, Ali, Halie & Brevin

Be Careful What You Ask For!
Here is Mr. Travis McKellar...a very young Travis McKellar.
Today Travis asked why he wasn't anywhere on this blog page, so now you have what you asked for Travis.

Travis is a great young man. He survived my 3rd Grade Class, graduated from Freemont High School, has served an LDS Mission to Wisconsin, now has his Real Estate License, and is thinking about going to school. What more could you ask for...a updated picture would be good.

The Bee
"Bee scientists always speak of the bee as she. It is because all the important bees are of that sex.
In the hive there is one married bee, called the queen; she has fifty thousand children; of these, about one hundred are sons; the rest are daughters. Some of the daughters are young maids, some are old maids, and all are virgins and remain so."

Baseball starts soon - the boys will be in town June 10th.

Scavenger Hunter for the Alphabet
Bridge, butterfly, birds, birdhouse, big blackbirds and BOAT!
Today Halie, Ali, and Grandma went on a hunt for the letter "B". We should have started with "A" of course, but "B" pictures seemed to show up everywhere. Starting with Grandpa in BED...but he didn't like the picture so we can't share it today. Now we are going to go fly the model "Airplane". Maybe we can get through the alphabet before Halie has to go home to Mom, Dad & Brevin.
