We gathered around the campfire
On a chilly October night
Don’t tell me those spooky stories
In the pale moonlight….it gives me such a fright!We added some more logs,
To make the fire bright,Marshmallows and hot dogs
really were a delight
And when the fire flickered
and embers began to form.
We hurried into the cabin to get all cozy, tired, and warm.
